John,
Somewhere they changed the shock rule, you can use others besides Afco, Carrera or QA1. What you can not do it mix parts, they must be from one manufacture only. Ours are the black Advance that come from Race Car Factory and are legal, there are many cars running them.
I agree with the ball joints and control arms, anytime you or the track officials want to look at them I am all for it, I know just like you do that there are some that are bent, machined and who knows what but our are legal. As is the whole truck. We tried the washer deal during practice it does help but we have not run them and as you know we asked about running them and where told NO.
I will be there Friday night come on over and look at the whole car not a problem.

Scott there are two trucks that have the top portion of the upper bent down, where it will sit flat when the truck rolls. Both trucks have been in tech multiple times this season, and have not been told anything. It's not very discrete either, you can see it from 10 feet away. The problem is the tech officials, the track needs someone who actually knows how to tech a truck, and not just shine a flashlight at it.

J,
I agree but I would guess there is more than two, people have some real trick ways of hiding it. I think tech will do something about it soon. Those trucks still can't run with us.
Ryan, Bryce, Andy and Stephen spent weeks with caster, camber and bump. Hard work will get you there.

Sure they can come over on friday and look at your truck but after they look you take the stuff off and then put on the parts that you dont want them to see. If I was the owner of the 48 truck I would let everyone look at my truck just before we go in tech for the main on saturday. That is if you have nothing to hide.

Come on over anytime, I don't know who you are because you are not using your name. But we have nothing to hide and I am trying to help many in our division.

they changed the rule for Race car factory so anyone who uses there setup most of you do this applies to you....I believed that rule started when Conner |Cantrell was found with some different piston shocks... Thus became RFC setup and they needed the big rebound shocks that afco,carrera,qa1 doesn't have as stock....Believe me I am not calling anyone cheaters here I am just stating facts....please tell me if I am wrong......most of you guys couldn't get your trucks to handle and you choose to have shrader help good for you... I am glad that has helped.. I really am not trying to piss off anyone here...

Partridge approaching track records
By Keith Lair, Staff Writer
Posted: 07/28/2010 10:17:35 PM PDT
IRWINDALE - Ryan Partridge is so close to setting some Toyota Speedway at Irwindale track records. Yet so far away, too.
With a win in the King Taco Super Trucks series Saturday night, the Rancho Cucamonga resident can set one track record, but he still has a long way to go for another track mark.
Partridge has won eight consecutive races in trucks this season. If he can win on Saturday, he'll set the single-season record for consecutive wins.
He's currently tied with three other drivers: Todd Burns (2003 Late Models), Ron Peterson ('06 Super Trucks) and Rick Crow ('06 Classic Stocks).
He still has a ways to go, however, for the track's overall consecutive-victory record. That would be 11, set by Peterson over the end of the 2005 season and the beginning of the '06 season. Crow won 10 consecutive races in Classic Stocks, winning the first three races in '07. Burns won nine consecutive races in the 1999-2000 season.
Partridge, however, has done something that none of the other drivers can claim. In addition to the victories, he's set the night's fastest time in each event.
He holds a 50-point lead on Monrovia's Todd Cameron, who had seven consecutive top-5 finishes until the last race two weeks ago, in which he finished 14th.
Partridge will be doing triple duty on Saturday, also seeking a pair of victories in the track's Pepsi One Super Late Model series, which will run Twin 40s.
Partridge and Nick Joanides are the lone drivers in the Super Late Model series to get through the Vision Air armada. Partridge won the first Twin 40 race on May 22 and Joanides, who's no longer racing in the division this season, won the series' first two races. Only if they knew how to tech a car and if they did, then actually do something.
With only a dozen or so cars, you could bring out a bull dozer and they'd put it through tech. It was once said, "You ain't racin, if you ain't cheating"

If the 48 team is cheating well they are only cheating themselfs.... Cause to act like your driver is the next Nextel Cup Champ be pretty embarrassing on there part if they get caught....Still the shocks are not legal till written in the rule book might want to tech shocks with a rule book standing by to read to the officials....Also upper a arms need a good looking into...

BINGO !!!! I figured it out. Saw Partridge testing at Irwindale last night and I know what they are doing. Ryan has 3 washers in his left shoe and it clearly states on page 367 paragraph 19 sentence 221 that you may only run 1 washer and it has to be in the right shoe. I really wish Irwindale would get their act together and check this guys shoes, as we all know washers in the left shoe is an unfair advantage and just plain not fair to people who don't have access to special washers or special shoes that accept the special washers.... So there ya have it, plain and simple.
